Best Bagger Contest:
Each year Rhode Island Food Dealers Association hosts its Best Bagger Contest. Stores have their own in house competitions and then send their top winners to RIFDA'S State Competition. The winner of this event is awarded $250.00 from the National Grocers Association and a trophy, and then goes to the National Grocers Association Convention to compete for the National Title. RIFDA provides the air transportation, hotel accommodations, and a food allowance for the two to three days of the event. The State second and third winners also receive trophies and cash prizes from RIFDA. The event is held in March each year at RIFDA's Trade Dinner Evening.

Coupon Redemption Program:
This service allows retailers to obtain reimbursement for manufactures' coupons by submitting them to our affiliate, Grocers Coupon Service without the necessity of sorting.

Credit-Debit Card Processing:
Access to one of the industry's most competitively priced processing services for your customers' credit and debit card transactions, as well as EBT transactions. This is all through Concord EFS, Inc.

Education and Training:
Seminars and food safety classes are held throughout the year.
